An ideal hero that could equal Jose P Rizal would be Dr. Fe del Mundo.

Her medical practice started when she returned to the Philippines in 1941. She joined the International Red Cross and volunteered for children internees. She likewise established a small pediatric office for her private practice which later on developed her dream of opening her own pediatric hospital.Since then she has dedicated her life to the cause of pediatrics in the Philippines. She is also known as the one who lead to the invention of an improved incubator and a jaundice relieving device. She has received numerous awards for outstanding public service like rural extension programs to advise mothers on breast feeding and childcare. Also an advocate of family planning, Fe del Mundo’s achievement in the medical field is without number.

I really think she is as good as rizal because she, like rizal risked her life for the welfare of the filipinos. Instead of minding her own bussiness , she ought to develop new ways to cure the sick and later on invent a revolutionary device which has already saved many lives. Below is a video in honor of her, enjoy!
